Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Lead country-level financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles with precision and strategic foresight.
  • Partner with senior management based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to translate business objectives into actionable financial plans and performance goals.
  1. AI-Integrated Forecasting
  • Champion the adoption of AI and digital analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and scenario modeling.
  • Drive automation and process innovation within financial reporting systems to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency.
  1. Commercial Finance & Business Support
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling for BD&L (Business Development & Licensing) opportunities in alignment with global standards.
  • Support value-based pricing and access strategies, including benchmark studies and evaluation of NUPCO and other public tenders.
  • Deliver strategic insights to optimize profitability and commercial outcomes.
  1. Budget Governance & Cost Optimization
  • Monitor budget adherence, analyze variances, and recommend cost-control measures.
  • Collaborate with Therapy Area Heads to align spending with performance priorities and resource allocation efficiency.
  1. Governance, Compliance & Standardization
  • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks (MCF) and corporate financial policies.
  • Lead process standardization, best practice sharing, and financial workshops to strengthen organizational financial discipline.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, working capital, and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in FP&A, financial strategy, or commercial finance roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and modeling expertise with hands-on experience in financial systems and AI-driven planning tools.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally, influence decisions, and manage high-stakes financial deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
