Job Description

The Role: 

As the Head of People Management based in Sweden, you will drive the strategic HR agenda for our European operations. You will lead a high-performing HR team, embed best-in-class people practices, and partner with senior leadership to support an agile, growth-oriented tech business. This role sits at the heart of our Sweden talent and culture agenda and is key to building our people capability across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR team (minimum ~10 direct reports), aligning team goals with business growth and culture-building.
  • Design, implement and evolve HR policies, frameworks and processes tailored for a fast-moving online/tech environment.
  • Partner with line managers and C-suite executives in Sweden and across Europe: train them on HR operations, support organizational design and drive talent programmes.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics (turnover, engagement, talent pipeline, leadership readiness) and present insights to senior leadership in Sweden and Europe.
  • Ensure job titles, roles and seniority levels remain fit for purpose as the company scales in Sweden and across the EU.
  • Own the employer-brand in Sweden: create and implement strategies that increase attractiveness, retention and employee experience.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on people- & culture-related issues impacting business performance, growth and transformation in Sweden.

Required Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in an HR senior role (ideally in the tech/online environment) with significant responsibility in Sweden or the EU.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling HR operations, especially in fast-growing technology businesses.
  • Strong strategic thinking: you are able to translate business strategy into actionable people initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills at all levels (including C-suite) in Sweden.
  • Highly analytical with experience using HR data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Significant experience in a technology- or digital-first environment is highly preferred.
