Job Description
AMBITION APPAREL is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Export Manager to join our IMPEX team in Lahore. This role will report directly to the Head of IMPEX and is responsible for leading export operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process efficiency.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the export team to ensure seamless and timely shipment execution.

Prepare, review, and manage all export documentation in full compliance with local and international regulations.

Coordinate with buyers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents for smooth export operations.

Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and promptly address any export-related concerns.

Review Letters of Credit (LC) and ensure all export documents are accurate and free of discrepancies.

Maintain comprehensive export records, update ERP systems, and generate periodic export performance reports.

Collaborate closely with production, merchandising, and finance teams to ensure alignment and workflow efficiency.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational improvements.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant export experience in the apparel or textile sector.

Strong understanding of export regulations, LC documentation, and global trade compliance.

Practical experience using ERP systems and export management software.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.

Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
