Job Description
Unity Foods Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Associate Manager – Electrical & Utilities to support smooth plant operations through effective electrical maintenance, utility management, and energy efficiency oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day electrical maintenance activities across the plant or project site.
- Assist in developing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support the Electrical Manager in managing the plant’s electrical systems, including power distribution networks, lighting infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, and other utilities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Monitor energy consumption and contribute to strategies for reducing energy costs.
- Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and maintenance records for audits and compliance.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety standards, company policies, and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of electrical spares and equipment.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and technical support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Work with external contractors, vendors, and service providers when required.
- Participate in HSE initiatives, internal/external audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, industrial plants, or similar environments.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, automation, control circuits, and PLCs is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with national electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

- Proven ability to lead teams and manage maintenance activities efficiently.
