About me
Leading preventive and corrective maintenance of Electrical Motors, Generators, Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Batteries/DC & UPS system, HV/LV switchgear, VFDs, Protection system and 132/220kV Switchyard equipment (CT,PT/CCVT, Isolator/Disconnector, Auto-Transformers, Isolation Transformer).
Planning of maintenance of machinery by controlling maintenance cost, reviewing spare parts, ordering spares, carrying out stores inspections and managing adequate inventories of essential spares using ERP software.
Responsible for the smooth operation of Plant & Switchyard round the clock and troubleshooting control, Instrumentation, AVR, Governor, protection and Power related faults.
Expertise in electrical drawings including power, control, protection, Instruments, PLCs, AVR and Governor control.
Operation & Maintenance of Powerhouse HVAC- system.
Troubleshooting/maintenance of CCTV & fire alarm system.

Preparation & submission of Capital and R&M Budget of electrical section and its execution including tracking of spend and spare utilization.
Carry out regular budget reviews and update budget spending accountability for maintenance approved budget cost centers.
Manage the spare requirement of the section from procurement to storage.
Manage the manpower and HR issues that are relevant to the electrical maintenance department.
Participate in the overall management of the Power Station with maintenance inputs covering the actual work undertaken, planned & unplanned outages and all statutory inspection work within the maintenance scope of work.
