About me
Profile: Operational Excellence Leader for Mission-Critical Environments
With a 23-year track record, I am a leader who thrives where complexity, safety, and precision intersect. My career is dedicated to one goal: ensuring that vital systems operate flawlessly, 24/7.
My Key Differentiators:
-
From Rails to Reactors: I possess a unique, transferable skill set in operating and maintaining the world’s most complex systems. The discipline required to manage a metro network—where a single error has zero margin—is directly applicable to managing a chemical plant, manufacturing facility, or any other high-stakes industrial operation.
-
Architect of Reliability: I don’t just run operations; I build them from the ground up. I develop the maintenance strategies, quality controls, and safety cultures that transform technical blueprints into dependable, real-world performance.
-
Leader of Multidisciplinary Teams: I have successfully managed and integrated diverse technical departments—from Electromechanical and Power Systems to Safety and Quality—fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence.
I am actively looking for:Â A challenging leadership position in operations, maintenance, or project management where my experience in ensuring the reliability and safety of complex systems will add immediate value.
Education
-
1997 - 2000
National University of Science and Technology (NUST)
BSC Telecommunication
I have completed my Engineering degree from NUST with Telecommunication engineering.
-
1991 - 1996
Cadet College Hassanabdal, CCH
Matric and FSC
My foundational years were shaped by the rigorous academic and character-building environment of Cadet College Hassan Abdal, Pakistan's most prestigious military boarding school for young men. The institution's unparalleled discipline, emphasis on leadership, and demanding curriculum for Matriculation and FSc (Pre-Engineering) instilled in me a core framework of integrity, resilience, and strategic thinking. This formative experience was not merely an education; it was a transformative training ground that laid the essential groundwork for a lifetime of leadership and complex problem-solving in my subsequent career.
Experience
-
2021 - 2025
Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System (OLMRTS)
Deputy General Manager
Explained in my Covering letter.
-
2019 - 2020
Daewoo Express Bus Service
Deputy General Manager
Daewoo Express | Senior Project Director
At Daewoo Express, my responsibilities expanded beyond transportation to include foundational energy infrastructure. I was entrusted with a pivotal leadership role in one of Pakistan’s most critical national projects: the $3.1 Billion Thar Coal Mining & Power Generation initiative. My mandate was to manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for this strategic venture, which involved:
Strategic Planning & Feasibility: Leading initial technical and logistical feasibility studies to establish the project framework and execution roadmap.
Mega-Project Management: Directing large-scale civil works, including site development, infrastructure setup, and the complex logistics of equipment mobilization in a challenging, remote environment.Supply Chain & Procurement: Overseeing the multi-million dollar procurement of heavy machinery, mining equipment, and critical materials, ensuring a resilient supply chain for continuous operations.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination: Acting as a key liaison between government bodies, private partners, and local authorities to ensure alignment, secure necessary permits, and mitigate project risks.
This role was a masterclass in managing a project of immense scale and strategic importance, directly contributing to Pakistan’s goal of energy independence. It demonstrated my ability to apply the same rigorous project management and systems integration principles used in transit infrastructure to the complex demands of the energy.
