Manager Mechanical Works and Supply Chain

• Looking after all the mechanical repair & maintenance works of the company owned construction machinery which includes Drilling Rigs, Excavators, Anchoring Rigs, Diaphragm Wall Cutters, RCC Hammers, Power Generators, Tower Lights, Desander Units, Filter Presses, Vibro Hammers, Jet Grouting Setups, Compressors and Cranes etc. My duties also include the setup and maintenance of the Load Test Equipment as well as Bentonite and Concrete Plant of the Company in yard as well as sites as required. This also includes Computerized management of the spare parts inventory as well as repair record of the machines using ERP ePROMIS tool and Primavera P6 for Scheduling and Budgeting
• I am also looking after the complete Supply Chain Management of spare parts, where my job includes the identification of a requirement, stock checking, required procurement, intime shipment, delivery and ultimate inspection/issuance of the material. The material refers to the items such as spare parts (Mechanical & Electrical) for heavy construction machinery and fleet vehicles along with the steel material such as plates, shafts or bars etc. My job requires to ensure the adequate presence of the stock and intime delivery of the required items to company sites
• I am looking after and keeping efficient logs of local as well as international procurement of spare parts and other material used in construction industry.
• Planning and Preparation of the fabrication jobs of the company which include fabrication of the drilling tools such as Kelly Bars, Buckets, Augers as well as fabrication of the steel storage tanks, gearboxes, boom extensions and silos etc.
• Making/Approving drawings in CAD tools specifically Solid Works for fabrication of new steel structures as well as reverse engineering jobs. This also includes making/reviewing drawings of the parts and sharing with the suppliers globally especially China and Turkey for sourcing out low-cost solutions for the bulk purchase of the same

Assistant Director of Engineering

• Looking after the Electrical, Mechanical and Civil works of the different parks of the City Metropolitan Area and carry out necessary maintenance as and when required. Used SAP Plant Maintenance and Primavera P6 for planning, scheduling and tracking of engineering and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency of assets
• Trouble shoot and repair the electrical transformers and electrical distribution boxes for smooth electrical supply to the engineering accessories in different park premises
• Design water supply and irrigation systems for supply of adequate water to different parks for irrigation purposes
• Repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, AHUs and Chilling Plants installed in different parks and buildings of the department
• Procurement of new generators, water supply motors, electrical lights and power cables for installation in different premises of the department
• Construction of new parks and their project management for the in-time delivery of the tasks
• Management of the skilled as well as unskilled manpower comprising of sub engineers, technicians, drivers and general labor etc.
• Maintenance of the department fleet which include motor cycles, cars, trucks, tractors, excavators, aerial platforms, power generators and cranes etc.
• Carry out necessary calculations for optimized fuel issuance to the vehicles
• Oversaw site preparation, plate rolling, and nozzle installation for vertical and horizontal tank projects. Collaborated with design and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and adherence to project timelines for water tank construction.
• Procurement of new fleet and prepare SOPs for recommended usage
• Prepare and review layout drawings of the electrical as well as mechanical components to be installed at different project sites
